Bodog Life Poker has finally announced the complete schedule for the BodogPoker Open II, set to kick off Sunday, September 28th, 2008. A total of 14 events will be held over 8 days, paying out a guaranteed total of $650,000.
As an added bonus, players can enter nightly BPO II Bounty Tournaments, awarding $109 worth of BOP II tournament credits for every Team Bodog Pro a player manages to knock out, plus a few other exceptionally talented players chosen by the online poker room. All BodogPoker Pros will be participating in the nightly Bounty tournaments, including Justin Bonomo, Evelyn Ng, David WWilliams and Jean-Robert Bellande.
“Whoever said sequels are never as good as the original certainly wasn’t talking about the Bodog Poker Open II,” commented 23-year old Justin Bonomo, a prominent Team Bodog Pro with impeccable tournament skills and $1.4 million in poker career earnings. “The first BPO was pretty big but the BPOII takes it to a whole new level with more events, more money guaranteed, deeper stacks, and they’re keeping it fun along the way with bounty tournaments. The Bodog Poker Open II will feature 7 Championship Events and 6 Bounty Tournaments, al culminating into the final $500 buy-in Bodog Poker Open II Main Event to be held Sunday, October 5th. Bodog Poker’s BPO II Main Event offers a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000.
