Full Tilt Poker Tournaments Weekend Review

It was another action packed Sunday at Full Tilt Poker as the online card room held its most lucrative poker tournaments, two of which saw enough entries to raise the guaranteed prize pools by nearly $80,000 combined.

Congratulations are in order for three very skilled members of the online poker room. The first goes to “holdplz” for taking down the Full Tilt Poker $750k GP for the 1st place prize of $132,788. After nearly 7 hours of play that began with a field of 3,644, “holdplz” emerged the victor by sending his heads-up opponent, “jibossh” to the rails. “jibossh” earned $80,250 for the 2nd place finish. Next, we salute “JohnnyBelow” for his ‘knock-out’ performance in the Full Tilt Poker $250k Sunday Brawl, earning the top prize of $61,533. 1,431 entries to the $200+$16 NL Hold’em Bounty/Knock-Out tournament raised the guaranteed $250k prize pool up to $286,200. Rounding out the evening’s victors was “dipthrong”, winner of the FullTilt Poker $150k Sunday Mulligan, worth a top prize of $44,436. A field of 966 converged on the tables at Full Tilt Poker, hiking the GP to $193,200. Six hours and thirty-three minutes later, “dipthrong” defeated his heads-up opponent, “okstate345” to claim the victory. “okstate345” was awarded $28,014 for the near win.
