FullTilt Poker.com hosted its usual line-up of lucrative Sunday tournaments this weekend with only one exception. Instead of the weekly $750k GP, this weekend set the scene for Full Tilt Poker’s $1,000,000 Monthly Million Guarantee.
We’ll start things off with the Full Tilt Poker Sunday Mulligan, where 1,271 entries paid the $200 + $26 buy-in, nearly doubling the $150k GP to $254200 to pay the top 117 positions. After 7 hours of play, the final table came down to heads-up action between “GimmeFiction” and “rafampvierira”. GimmeFiction earned the 1st place prize of $55,924 when his skills overpowered rafampvierira, who claimed the 2nd place purse of $35,558.

Next up was the Full Tilt Poker Sunday Brawl, the weekly Knockout tournament worth a GP of $250k. Another exceptional field of 1,769 bought their way into the $246 + $16 bounty tournament, this time hiking the total prize to $353,800. The top 189 finishers would see a share of the winnings, but it was “Styjroben33” ousting “ulilbeach” in heads-up to claim the top purse of $72,883.

Last, but certainly not least, the Full Tilt Poker $1,000,000 Monthly Guarantee got underway at 6:00 p.m. ET. 2,396 players forked up the $500 + $35 buy-in (or satellite their way in) to extend the $1 million guaranteed prize to $1,198,000. At nearly 10 hours to complete, the final hand was well worth the wait. Just when it appeared “AJKHoosier1” was about to take down the tournament with an easy Flush, “GulahPapyrus” hit the Full House on the River to emerge victorious. GulahPapyrus earned $219,773 for the amazing last-second win, while AJKHoosier1 claimed a “bitter sweet” $134,895 in 2nd.
